I just love projects like this…Needlecraft Tattoo was founded by a former college friend of mine, Sharon. We are both trained in fine art and she decided to take the plunge and train as a tattooist! Sharon approached me for her logo and her shop artwork to put above the door to the new salon. This was a really nice job as I could crack on with some illustration. The first logo was a paintily style rose and tattoo gun…the design reflecting her tattoo style. Everything is hand drawn then scanned in and vectorised in Illustrator. I actually produced two logo’s for her, as she progressed on to more fine line mandala style artwork we did a total shop revamp, including creating huge decals for the windows.
She couldn’t part with her first logo, so now she has the two of them adorning her shop. The more the merrier!
