Brief
Corkage hasn’t stood still. Over the years, the website has supported a wine shop, a second restaurant for a time, and further changes when the shop moved. We’ve kept it maintained and adapted it along the way.
This time, the aim was to look at the whole picture: present Corkage as it is today, give guests a feel for the restaurant before they arrive, and make the everyday work behind the website more straightforward.
Solution
We replaced the old off-the-shelf theme with a custom WordPress build, giving Corkage’s photography, colours and typography room to work together. Food, wine and events take the lead, with clearer routes to exploring the menu, booking a table and planning a group visit.
The same care went into the parts guests never see. Custom menu and event tools let the team change a menu or publish an event without having to redesign the page around it.
Outcome
The result is recognisably Corkage, with a more considered presentation for guests and practical controls for the team. The restaurant’s identity remains familiar, but the website behind it has been rebuilt around the way the business works today.
It’s a new website, not a new relationship. We continue to look after Corkage’s online presence, with an approach that leaves room for whatever the business needs next.
