Planning the website

What does the website need to do?

We discuss what visitors need to find or do, and how your team will manage the site. For an existing website, we also review what is already working.

Content and design

We plan the pages and navigation, develop the visual design and work out what content is needed.

Features and connections

We agree which functions the site needs and check any services it will connect to, such as a shop or booking system.

Technology and development

We choose the technology to suit the project. That may be a content management system, a custom application or a combination of both.

Built with performance in mind.

Fast-loading websites start with decisions about content, images and code. We consider website performance throughout design and custom development, then test the public pages with Lighthouse.
